"Thick-sliced green tomatoes with a golden, crunchy Andy's Fish Breading crust. A Southern classic side or starter."

Tart green tomatoes and a seasoned cornmeal crust are a Southern match made in heaven. Andy's Fish Breading isn't just for fish: it gives these slices a savory, golden crunch that's perfect alongside dinner or on their own with a little dipping sauce.
Pick medium to large green tomatoes. Small ones tend to be bitter. For an extra kick, use 1 cup of Andy's Hot 'N' Spicy Chicken Breading in the batter.

In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour and 4 cups of water to make a thin batter. (For an extra kick, substitute 1 cup of Andy's Hot 'N' Spicy Chicken Breading.)
In a separate bowl or dish, add 2 cups of your favorite Andy's Fish Breading.
Add your sliced tomatoes to your wet batter.
Take your tomatoes from the wet batter and add them to the Andy's Fish Breading. Coat completely.
Preheat your oil to 350-375°F.
Slowly add your breaded tomatoes to the oil and fry 6-8 minutes.
